Lesley Stephenson B.Sc. (Hons), PGCE, KFRP, MACH,
Lesley has worked with complementary therapies for many years and has considerable experience in treating people with digestive disorders. Lesley is a practitioner of Classical Kinesiology, a teacher of Touch for Health, a qualified healing practitioner/teacher as well as a dedicated and caring Colon Hydrotherapist. Lesley is dedicated to empowering people to reach their best health possible and inspires people to remember that you do not have to ‘put up’ with health problems! Using all of her skills, she has had enormous success in a number of cases where the person has been advised that there is ‘nothing that can be done’, ‘you will just have to live with it’ and ‘you will be on medication for the rest of your life’. Lesley’s approach to health is an integrated one; she believes that orthodox and complementary medicine both have an important role to play and there is no reason why they should not be able to work together.
A bit of background to Lesley – she is in her 40’s and lives in a small village outside of Northampton with her husband and beautiful Golden Retriever. She loves walking, yoga, skiing, travelling and has a real interest in health issues and complementary medicine. She is committed to teaching people ways of being able to look after their own health and regularly gives talks to local organisations on that subject. Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy |
Bob Allen B. Sc. (Hons), BTEC SRMT
Bob is a fully qualified sports and remedial massage therapist and is also studying for a B Sc. in Osteopathy.
He is keen to promote massage therapy as a treatment that is not just for sporting injuries. Many people do not realise that this approach can be used to successfully treat the general aches and pains that can be caused by modern daily life. This includes activities like driving or sitting in front of a computer screen, manual work including carpentry and plumbing and active hobbies like gardening and diy. In addition to effectively treating the problems that can be caused by these activities, massage can be very effective in helping to relieve some of the problems caused by diabetes, asthma and arthritis.
While Bob is based in Northampton he has provided massage support at large athletic events around the country including the London marathon, the Great North run, the Great Yorkshire Run and cycling events like Flat out in the Fens and the Cheshire Cat.
A sports and remedial massage treatment can be of great benefit to you whether your problems are caused by your work, your sport, your age or the stresses and strains of everyday living. If you have any questions or you want to discuss if a treatment would be appropriate for you please give Bob a call on 07515014308.
